iPhone Duo App Store submissions now open

From the Apple Developer newsroom:

You can submit your iPhone Duo optimized apps and games in App Store Connect today. Starting April 2027, any apps or games submitted will need to include screenshots for iPhone Duo.

It looks like the iPhone Duo will be the only device to run iOS 27.1 - it’s the only simulator in the Xcode 27.1 release candidate that runs it.

Alongside the 27.1 release candidate Apple has also rolled out support in App Store Connect for asset catalogues, and search and product page header banners which were all first previewed back in June at WWDC.

Excitingly, you can now also submit image assets for review without needing a new version of an app.
